Prior to beginning his practice in Toronto, Aaron Grinhaus articled with a prominent Canada-based international law firm located in Ottawa, Ontario, where he gained experience in a wide range of corporate-commercial and property matters, and gained exposure to intellectual property law and civil litigation. Aaron graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree prior to attending law school. While earning his Canadian Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ottawa (with distinction) and American Juris Doctor at Michigan State University College of Law as part of a dual-degree program, Aaron was the recipient of a number of awards and honours . He was privileged to have clerked as an extern with a Michigan court of general jurisdiction and was ranked in several competitions among the top student negotiators, both nationally and internationally.

In April 2009, Aaron and his wife Meryl were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Ava Rachel. Over the years Aaron has been actively involved in charitable concerns in the community and on executive boards of the Ontario Bar Association. Aaron is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in Ontario.
